Accounts Receivable Associate (Graduate)

Role Description


This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team of one of Ireland’s fastest growing companies. The role will be based in our Mullingar Head Office and will involve working directly with the Chief Financial Officer and our Accounts Supervisor. The role will include:


  • Working with the rest of our Finance & Client Services Teams

  • Drafting, Reviewing and Issuing Invoices & Credit Notes

  • Drafting, Reviewing and Issuing Quotes and Price information

  • Monthly statement releases & reconciliations

  • Treasury functions to ensure bank data is current and up to date

  • Communicating with clients and running credit procedures

  • Reviewing client queries / seeking updates / escalating if necessary

  • Circulating Debtor reports / issuing reminders

  • Supporting month end close off

  • Help to implement automation improvements



Candidate Requirements


  • Have good computer skills (Excel, Outlook, fast learner)

  • Knowledge of Sage 50 and Autoentry are helpful, but not essential

  • Attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and proactive approach

  • Have a positive and proactive outlook with good interpersonal skills for engaging with clients

  • Be detail-orientated and approach work in a logical / methodical way

  • Confident in interacting with colleagues / working as part of a team

  • Be a self starter / self directed / trustworthy / honest

  • Be punctual / reliable
